My MAC is connected to Apogee Ensemble audio interface and all sound monitoring in the studio is through Apogee Ensemble. No other connection exists between Fantom and the MAC. I have connected Fantom to my Apple Mac via USB out from Fantom rear port labelled “Computer” and USB in to Mac.

Here is the problem I am having getting Roland Fantom 8 and Apple Logic Pro X integration. it also does not work in garageband now too.I am new to Roland and Fantom technology.
am i doing something wrong? how can i fix this? it used to work in garageband no problem.

but, when i actually load a software instrument and play it through the midi keyboard, nothing. the us144 shows a red light under "MIDI In", indicating its detecting the input. my midi keyboard plays sounds fine, through its own speakers and such. I can see the us144 in the sys prefs>sounds menu, and i have changed the input to the us144 (core audio), and done the same in logic>prefs>audio and changed the input to the us144.

the drivers installed fine, the firmware update just says "device not detected" so i haven't been able to update that, even after several restarts. download the yosemite drivers for the us144 mkii. I'm on a new Macbook Retina 13', and I downloaded the drivers for the US-144 mk ii since the mk1 isn't really supported anymore. I have the Tascam US144 and I can't get it to work with my Yosemite Logic Pro X setup.
